Deed 1-55-367 Indenture made May 23, 1829 To all whom...I, Rebecca Dise, daughter of John Hilpot, deceased of Tinicum Twp.... a parcel of land in Tinicum Twp...adjacent to Casper J. Fabian, Isaac Laubenstine and others... Beginning on Tinicum Creek... containing 15 acres 29 perches... The property willed by John Hillpot deceased (will made 15, September 1824,,, devised by his son John D. Hillpot... I Rebecca Dise have paid the interest as per will...They had two children.

The following information was furnished by Linda Dice on Feb. 5, 2001 and I have not confirmed it's accuracy. It appears Henry and Rebecca divorced shortly after Lewis's birth and Rebecca raised Samuel and Henry or someone else raised Lewis. Linda claims "I do know Henry remarried to a Sarah Renninger and had 11 more children. All born in Montgomery County excpet 1, James or Jacobus Renninger Dice was born in Milford Township, Bucks County in 1832. Henry died in 1865 (which disputes my theory that he died by 1825) in Montgomery Co., and is buried in Niantic?

He buried in Lower Tinicum New Cemetery. In 1826 he had 159 acres of land. 1951 Buck's County tax he had 2 parcels of land 1 containing 73 acres and the second containing 16 acres. Married Elizabeth Yost, daughter of Conrad and Catharine (Fulmer) Yost. She was born November 16, 1793 died March 22, 1857. Buried Hillpot Cemetery, Tinicum Twp. Farmer in Tinicum Township.(See Orphans Court file # 5054 Conrad Yost of Bedminster) Doylestown Democrat of October 18, 1864 shows George aged 73 years 9 months and 6 days Ten children. According to George's will, his daughter Margaret was bequeathed only $5 with the rest divided equally between the other children. Margaret tried to contest the will but was unsuccessful.

Married 1816 George Lear, the seventh child born of Joseph ( born 5/3/1759 died 9/30/1849 married 12/3/1782) and Elisabeth (Garis) Lear born July 2, 1757 died 1830-1840. George was born April 15, 1791 Tinicum Twp. died August 18, 1862. After his marriage to Elizabeth in 1816, they bought a 50 acre farm in Nockamixon Twp., where they lived until 1830. They moved to an 85 acre farm in Bedminster Twp. In 1834 they returned to Tinicum Twsp. where they remained. George owned several lots of land that totaled over 100 acres. Buried Upper Tinicum Cemetery. Carpenter and farmer in Tinicum Twp. Nine Children.

Simon Peter Gehris was born on November 16, 1727 in Horschbach, Palatinate. He immigrated to America on September 24, 1742 on the ship "Robert and Alice" at Philadelphia at age 15. He was naturalized on October 10, 1765 in Springfield Twp. Bucks County. He died March 1804 in Hereford Twp., Berk's County Pennsylvania. Simon Peter was the son of Johann Peter Geris and Elizabeth Catherina Zimmer. Hans Peter Lohr (Lear) the grandfather of the husband, of our subject person was born 1723 in Rhine Country. German Electorate, Palatine. Possibly with his wife Elizabeth? Arrived in America on the ship "Two Brothers" from Rotterdam in 1749. A farmer in Tohickon Creek in Buck's County Pa. The Family may have belonged to the Tohickon Reformed Congregation. Hans died in 1793 in Bedminster. There are 5 children listed John, Joseph Sr. who's son George married Elizabeth Hillpot, James, Catherine and Robert.

Buck's County Tax he is shown to have 19 acres of land in 1851

She was born March 9, 1818 died April 22, 1902. (Buck's County Newspaper marriage notices 1804-1834 show Fredrick G. married Mary Ann Lear both of Tinicum) A newspaper clipping of February 18, 1868. From Intell. $100 Reward, Was stolen from the premises of F.G. Hillpot, in Tinicum Twp. on Thursday night, the 13th, a black horse, 7 years old, about 15 hands high, long mane and tail, a beautiful star on the forehead, left hind foot white to the fetlock. He carries his head high. Also a one-horse sleigh, painted yellow; a set of good harness with good black mounting; a strap of bells, two buffalo robes, one with Mahlon Heaney's name on it. Seventy Five dollars will be paid for the return of the horse and sleigh, and one hundred dollars, if the their is apprehended. Frederick was buried Lower Tinicum Cemetery. _____ in Tinicum Twp. I believe her to be # 3141 the first child born of Mary Magdalena Snyder and Frederick Frankenfield. They had six children. Jacob married second Mary Most she bore six children as well. Jacob a farmer. He buried Lower Tinicum Cemetery. _______in Richland Twp. Deeds book 130 page 273 shows 83 acres 90 perches of land sold to settle estate of Jacob G. $4000.00 was paid to his son George according to the terms of will George was to get $100.00 Mary Ellen $50.00 his wife one third of all then his other six children starred below to evenly divide the remainder. It is assumed that James died prior to his father Jacob.

Married March 9, 1830 Christina Shive, daughter of George and Catherine (Hager) Shive, weavers of cloth and blankets, of Nockamixon. Christina was born December 16, 1808 died January 20, 1891. Battles History of Bucks Co. A prosperous farmer of Bucks Co. He received an education the subscription schools afforded at that period, leaving school at the age of twelve. He then turned his attention to farming and had followed that occupation with considerable success. He was a Democrat in politics, and although took a lively interest in the affairs of that organization, and always advocated its principles with great enthusiasm, he never aspired to public office. He was a regular attendant of the Lutheran Church in Lower Tinicum. In his obits it says he was the last survivor who worshiped at the old log church in the early part of the 1800's. 3 sons and 1 daughter died prior to Samuel. Funeral took place at the house of John King on Saturday morning. He was buried Lower Tinicum Cemetery. Farmer in Tinicum Twp. Eight children

Isaac was jury commissioner for three years, deacon of Lower Tinicum Lutheran Church for 18 years and a trustee for nine years. 1850 Buck's County Tax Isaac is occupies 67 acres of land that is owned by his father Frederick, Hillpot.
