TWENTY -TWO MARRIED AT MAKEFIELD MEETING
Friends' Meeting House in Makefield Was Scene of Many Marriage Ceremonies -
One dates to 1820.
NEWTOWN, JULY 22-Since writing the account of the recent wedding in Makefield
Meeting House a friend has found the record of a number of Friends who were
married therein. It was thought that all weddings should be solemnized in the
meeting house.
