John Llewllin Hillpot was perhaps the last of the true Hillpot family to reside in Bucks County, Pa. Never meeting the man, he was born in 1880 and died in 1962, I was very fortunate to be directed to the owner of this portrait. Although the picture came out rather poorly, it is a great feeling to see such a masterpiece. I was told by the present day owner that John stood about 5'6" tall.
