| Loved the article. Grew up in the area. My Aunt Martha owned Stoney Point Grocery. I am always interested in hearing about the past in the area I grew up in. | Larry my maternal Great Grandfather Flory Ciongoli was born around 1892 in Italy and with his wife Alponsia Radano had 6 children ( Joe, Frank, Ernie, Chris, Nellie, Rosie ) that lived in West New York (Hudson County) New Jersey. Some info indicates that the original spelling was Ciangoli- I had heard that Salerno might have been the point of origin I would love any info you have that might be relevant |
