Records compiled during the past year by the Doylestown Cemetery Company show that more than 50 percent of the persons interred in the cemetery during the past 12 months were out-of-town residents. Of the remains of the 81 persons interred in the cemetery, 32 were Doylestown residents and almost one-fourth the number of persons buried here the past year had been Phila. residents, 20 former residents of that city having been interred in the local cemetery. Remains of a number of residents who lived outside the State were interred in the cemetery also. The record shows that former residents of New York, Mass., New Jersey, California and Oklahoma were buried in the local cemetery. It is shown in the records that the greatest number of interments took place during September, when the remains of 13 persons were buried here. The smallest number of burials took place in June, when were but two. The oldest person interred in the local cemetery was 98 years of age. Another had attained the age of 92 years.
